Montreal, December 12, 2014 ---TheAssociation of QuebecLandlords (APQ) is pleased to announce that itis offering a newservice for allrental property ownersin Quebec: the APQ search notice.

Thanks to the APQ network of contacts,in partnership with the RPHL, we will issue the search noticeson the Facebook and Twitter pagesof theAPQ and the RPHL.

“Thousands of residential property owners are getting decisionseach year (seetable below) but for lack ofmoney, time and available resources, they cannot enforce their decisions. Torecover the sums lost for which the tenantis found guilty, the owners are left aloneto fend forthemselves. We will help tenants who forgot to pay to remember the importance of meeting their obligations.”

By completing a simplified questionnaire, the Association of Quebec Landlords (APQ) will send the search notice on a dedicated Facebook pageas well as on Twitter.

Nothing is easier! The reply form will be available for 30 days to anyone likely to inform the owner and areport will be sent to the applicant after this time.
No feeand a possibility to recover and enforce the judgment thanks to the largest network of contacts in Quebec!

“The owners have the right to have their judgment enforced. Rampage of a housing, leaving it without paying, is an act punishable by law. TheAPQ is proud to contribute so that justice is done,”adds Martin Messier.

“With more than 30-year-old laws, with no safety deposit, with a G clause affecting the right of ownership ofrental housing, with negligible rental rate increases, it is good to see that one can rely on the APQ, a dynamic and credible force that targets its demands and services to balance the scales!” concludes the President of the APQ.

Founded in 1984,the Quebec Landlords Association(APQ) is the most important association to offer services torental property ownersin all regionsof Quebec. It also offers an assessment service of tenants which is unique in Quebec.
